The best way to get something done is to begin. When you think too long or hard about doing something, it often becomes its undoing.

If you find yourself putting off important tasks over and over again, you’re not alone. In fact, many people procrastinate to some degree.

We put things off because we don’t want to do them, or because we have too many other things on our plates. But some people are so chronically affected by procrastination that it stops them from fulfilling their potential and it dissolves their dreams.

I’m sure most of you have heard the quote: “If it weren’t for the last minute, I wouldn’t get anything done.”

If you want to make an easy job seem really hard, just keep putting off doing it. Nothing is so fatiguing as hanging on to an uncompleted task.

The fact that you procrastinate does not mean that you are inherently lazy or inefficient. Your procrastination is not an untamable beast. It is a habit that has some specific origin, and it is a habit that you can overcome.

The key to controlling this destructive habit is to recognize when you start procrastinating, understand why it happens (even to the best of us), and take active steps to manage your time and outcomes better.

Someday is not a day of the week, most things that happen to us, could have been avoided by previous preparation and planning.

So don’t put off what you can do today!

When the thought of putting something important off, is pitched into your mind, pretend it’s a baseball and knock it back out of the park!

I promise you… that whatever it is you need to be doing to achieve your dreams…
A year from now you will wish you had started today.
