• Procrastination Is Opportunity’s Assassin!

    No Gravatar

The best way to get something done is to begin. When you think too long or hard about doing something, it often becomes its undoing.

If you find yourself putting off important tasks over and over again, you’re not alone. In fact, many people procrastinate to some degree.

We put things off because we don’t want to do them, or because we have too many other things on our plates. But some people are so chronically affected by procrastination that it stops them from fulfilling their potential and it dissolves their dreams.

I’m sure most of you have heard the quote: “If it weren’t for the last minute, I wouldn’t get anything done.”

If you want to make an easy job seem really hard, just keep putting off doing it. Nothing is so fatiguing as hanging on to an uncompleted task.

The fact that you procrastinate does not mean that you are inherently lazy or inefficient. Your procrastination is not an untamable beast. It is a habit that has some specific origin, and it is a habit that you can overcome.

The key to controlling this destructive habit is to recognize when you start procrastinating, understand why it happens (even to the best of us), and take active steps to manage your time and outcomes better.

Someday is not a day of the week, most things that happen to us, could have been avoided by previous preparation and planning.

So don’t put off what you can do today!

When the thought of putting something important off, is pitched into your mind, pretend it’s a baseball and knock it back out of the park!

I promise you… that whatever it is you need to be doing to achieve your dreams…
A year from now you will wish you had started today.

  • Mistakes Are Stepping Stones

    No Gravatar

The harder you try, the greater your chances
are of succeeding…. and that’s because the law of averages are on your side.

Taking a risk is often a necessary step toward success. If you don’t take some calculated risks, you will definitely decrease your chance to succeed!

It really doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you continure to move forward. What matters the most is that you do not stop! Consistencey is the key.

As long as you are trying, you are winning. Do not let yourself get discouraged and even more importatntly – don’t let others pull you back!

Every wrong attempt is another step forward. People who are scared to make mistakes do not get anywhere and they end up giving up on their dreams.

So make up your mind to not only overcome a thousand obstacles, but to win in spite of a thousand defeats.

Your mistakes are your stepping stones to success. They are the path to your dreams. It’s impossible to be a winner if you’re afraid to lose.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling
but in rising every time we fall :-)

  • Cure Fear With Action

#1. Don’t wait until conditions are perfect!

If you’re waiting to start until conditions are perfect, you probably never will.

There will always be something that isn’t quite right. Either the timing is off, the market is down, or there’s too much competition.

In the real world there is no perfect time to start. You have to take action and deal with problems as they arise.

The best time to start was last year. The second best time is right now!

    #2. Be a doer -

Practice doing things rather than thinking about them. Do you want to start exercising? Do you want to start your own business?

Do it today. The longer an idea sits in your head without being acted on, the weaker it becomes. After a few days the details get hazy. After a week it’s forgotten completely.

By becoming a doer you’ll get more done and stimulate new ideas in the process.

#3. Use action to cure fear –

Have you ever noticed that the most difficult part of public speaking is waiting for your turn to speak?

Even professional speakers and actors experience pre-performance anxiety. Once they get started the fear disappears. Action is the best cure for fear.

The most difficult time to take action is the very first time. After the ball is rolling, you’ll build confidence and things will keep getting easier.

Kill fear by taking action and build on that confidence.

  • The World Is Full Of Abundance

It’s not so much what you have, but what you enjoy that measures your abundance. The real riches in life come from a contented mind and a happy heart.

Both abundance and the lack of it exists in our lives, It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we choose to enter.

The world is full of abundance and opportunity, but way too many people come to the gold mine with a shovel in their hand, instead of a dump truck. They expect little – so they receive little in return.

People with a scarcity mentality tend to see everything in terms of win or lose. They believe that there is only so much to go around; and if someone else has it, that means there will be less for them.

Develop an abundance mentality. Be genuinely happy for the successes, well-being, achievements, recognition, and good fortune of others.

Wealth without enjoyment is of little consolation. True satisfaction comes from appreciating what you have and believing you deserve abundance in your life.

Your riches will lie within you. When you focus on being a blessing, you will be blessed in return.

  • People Who Win…

Winners get what they want because they know what they want. They have a vision that keeps them motivated and efficiently on track.

People who win know what they need to do and when they need to do it. They avoid things that tend to steer them off course.

Are you someone who is excited to get up in the morning? People with a passion are, and they’re energized about what they are doing.

You need to live and breathe what it is that you want, and be passionately invested in both the journey and the goal.

Learn to be flexible! Even the best-laid plans sometimes must be altered and changed. Be willing to be wrong and be willing to start over if needed.

People who consistently win are willing to get out of their comfort zone and try new things. They’re not afraid to take risks! Leave behind the safe, unchallenging, and familiar existence, so you can have more and become more.

It’s important to surround yourself with a group of people who “want you to succeed.” Choose and bond with people who have skills, talents and abilities that you may need to learn.

Most importantly – Just do it!! People who succeed don’t just sit and think about what they want to do, they take action.

Winners know how to manage their time. They set priorities. They don’t waste precious hours on the unimportant tasks.

And last but not least… Take care of yourself!

People who consistently win, know that they are their most important resource they have in achieving their goals. They actively manage their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health.

  • A Precious Stone

    No Gravatar

Most people go from challenge to challenge, and how you meet those challenges will determine your future happiness and success.

Going through a difficult time can show on a person’s face or in their attitude.

Do you think that the people who smile everyday and have a great attitude could not possibly know what its like to suffer?

The truth is that we all go through our own trials and tribulations. What truly separates us or sets us apart, is how we let it affect us.

Some use those challenges to become better, some become bitter.

A closer look will show you that most “crisis situations” are opportunities to either advance or stay where you are. In fact, most changes in your life will take place out of either “inspiration” or “desperation.”

The first step toward getting somewhere is to decide that you’re not going to stay where you are. You’re not a captive of your environment.

Whatever comes your way, give it meaning and transform it into something of value. Your personal growth is the process of responding positively to change.

A precious stone cannot be polished without friction, nor humanity perfected without trials.

  • The Journey

    No Gravatar

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

And the most important time to have faith in yourself is when no one else does.

Win or lose, pass or fail, in most cases, it’s a matter of choice. First of all we decide in our minds, and then we put it to work through our actions.

In our lives and on our path to success, there are always going to be ups and downs. There is nothing wrong with the ‘downs’ unless you choose to stay there.

If you stumble on your way to the top, don’t look back. If someone trips you along the way, again, don’t look back. If negativity blurs your vision, seek positive motivation, but don’t give up.

With each step you will become stronger. Just believe in yourself and work hard. No matter what obstacles or hardships come your way, if you can endure the path, your journey will eventually take you to your destination.

You need to become like a river… it doesn’t matter what’s in its way, it’s going to reach the sea!

When you know your own value, you are unstoppable! When you realize who you are and realize your own self worth, everything in life will come to you!

Live to your fullest potential, never let anyone bring you down, and fight hard to get everything you want!

  • Each Day Is A New Gift

    No Gravatar

Every morning when you wake up you are magically given 24 hours of this precious, priceless substance we call time.

Time is the ingredient that we use to transform our dreams into realities and our hopes into success.

We all hear people say, “I just don’t have the time.” What they are really saying is that there are other things more important to them. We all have a lot of time. We have all the time there is.

The hands of the clock go around at the same rate of speed for everyone of us.

The main thing is that we don’t always put importance on those things that are important. We waste time on things that are unimportant to our success.

We like to think there is always a tomorrow. But if we wait until next week, next month, next year, ten years from now, honest as our intentions may be, we will find ourselves in the same settings, and the same place we are today.

Most people won’t drive their car without insurance, everyone has insurance on their home, and most people have life insurance on themselves. And yet, insurance-minded as we may be, many of us are not insuring our futures against constant changes.

The world owes us nothing, but we owe ourselves, our loved ones and the world the duty to develop our God-given talents. It’s up to us and us alone to make our dreams come true, our plans come alive.

Each day is a new gift, so get started! You are worth the time, and you are definitely worth the investment!

  • Successful People Think Like Winners

    No Gravatar

When people think of themselves as successful, they succeed!

When you believe in yourself, others tend to believe in you.

They want to be around people with self-confidence and positive expectancy about their goals, desires and dreams.

    Successful people think like winners.

They approach life with a confident expectation that they can solve any problem that arises, turn any situation into a positive advantage and achieve any goal that is important to their success.

Success also begins with an attitude…

Winners face the day with the purpose of discovering what can be done instead of worrying about what cannot be done.

Positive people attract, and negative people repel!

Winners do not expect to get something for nothing. They are willing to give the time, effort, and money necessary to achieve their goals.

They know that any success worth having carries a price tag and they gladly accept the opportunity to invest in their own success and future.

Winners don’t make excuses! They acknowledge their mistakes or failures and learn from them.

To become a winner, you must first learn to think like one.

  • There Will Always Be Challenges!

    No Gravatar

Courage is the power to let go of the familiar.
It’s the power to be able to face your obstacles and difficulties.

When you recognize that you’re bigger than your problems, you’ll gain the courage necessary to overcome anything.

Your attitude is not determined by your circumstances, but by how you respond to them. The challenges facing you are not as important as your attitude towards them, your courage and determination to overcome them, will determine your success or failure.

As long as we are growing, we’re always going to be a bit unsure, or out of our comfort zone. So please don’t think you have to wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect!

There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.

You were created to conquer your environment, to solve problems, and to achieve goals. You’ll find no real satisfaction or happiness in life without obstacles to conquer and goals to achieve.

Anyone can give up. It’s the easiest thing in the world to do. Courage is simply the willingness to be afraid and act anyway.

Stand up to the obstacles, the difficulties, go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm :-)

Have the courage to pursue your dreams! Take on the journey!
Your personal growth itself – contains the secret to your happiness.
